This week we did a lot of fun things that helped make the week go by faster, which is always nice. Tuesday my friend Lisa and I went to an aquarobics class that felt so good. I love swimming, but especially when I'm pregnant. Wednesday night was Young Women's where we played "Bigger and Better". I made my group go by our house to visit Eric and they ended up trading him a Flexible Flyer (the old red wood sleds with the metal tracks you lay on) for a pair of old skis Eric had since high school. Eric was also babysitting Penelope and her best friend Ryan for the evening. Then Thursday, we went to Eagle Eye at the nice theater at the Gateway. The movie was awesome. Friday we pretty much got ready for Eric's cross race and the BD swap. Our friend, Adam, took our stuff to the swap and made me $55 bucks from my very first snowboard and some old Smith sunglasses.
Saturday, Eric's cross race was so great!!! I'm not allowed to blog about it before him, so you'll have to wait to read his post for the details :) The race was up in Ogden so we went on up to Brigham to see some fam. Eric got some tools from his dad (now he won't have to steal my screw driver anymore!) We ate at one of our favorite Chinese places, Hunan, with the best salads ever. Penelope and Aidan played and tried to eat paint as Alisa was trying to paint a cupboard in their new house. (eek) Then, we had some friends over for Halloween desserts. Yum. I made sugar cookies to decorate. People brought stuff to share as well. We had that dirt cake stuff with the Oreos and gummy warms, some orange rice crispy treat pumpkins, some m&m cookies, and some homemade cream puffs! It was quite the array and waaaaayy too much sugar. Oh, and we made serbet and sprite punch with frozen hand ice cubes. Penelope worn her pirate costume, but would not let me get a good picture. Then we forgot to get any pictures once everyone else was here. Someone mentioned church the next day and it reminded me that I was teaching today. That would have been pretty embarrassing to show up without a lesson at all. Glad they said something! After getting up early to get my lesson ready, going to church, picking grapes and making the BEST grape juice ever this afternoon, I'm pretty worn out. I love being busy.
